Yesterday was H's daddy birthday and we pre-celebrated it on Saturday at Shinji by Kanesaka! It is an extension of 2-star Michelin Chef Shinji Kanesaka’s Edo-style sushi restaurant first set up in Tokyo’s exclusive Ginza district!

How time flies!!! IT'S ALREADY MAY?!? Goshhhh I need time to slow down please. I am aging real quick lolololol So anyway, just 2 days back was 13th again, that means its our 4th monthsary!

So yesterday was Hewatt's 27th birthday.. and actually we had been having quite a few rounds of celebrations already! The first celebration was last Friday at Manbok with our friends! But first, we had dinner together with his family :)

Valentine's Day 2015!

Omgawd has it been the longest time since I took a break from blogging? :O Terribly sorry for being away for sooooo long ;( I am still trying to get used to this 'working' phase. On a typical day after work, I'll head over to H's house for dinner, maybe watch a show or two before returning home. And when I'm back home, all I want is to lie on my precious bed and sleep. (Cycle continues everyday) so yea, it was pretty difficult for me to get my ass on the chair to edit photos/blog~
But anyhowzzzz, better late than never!!! Here's a short update on how my Valentine's day went!

- - - Woke up to see this big bouquet of flowers lying right beside me! Thank you H ❤ 


I also received my first ever orange boxxxxx.  Thank you H and Uncle for choosing such a special present for me :)

Alone in Hong Kong

About almost a month ago, I went on a work trip to Hong Kong alone~


This time round, I stayed at The Peninsula Hong Kong which is at Tsim Sha Tsui!! Super convenient location ;)

Fresh blooms on the counter table while I was checking in!! So pretty!!

And here's my room!! Thank you The Peninsula Hong Kong :D I had such an awesome and comfortable stay!!

I guess most of you guys should already know I'm now together with H, or known as 'Mr Lawyer' here in the online world. lol. I also work together with him now in his dad's law firm and most days... we actually dapao and eat in the office~ But today we decided to eat 'good/better food' since it's been awhile we went out together? Lol Tried googling for cafes around the vicinity and chanced upon Fresh Fruits Lab which is like a 5mins walk from office!


The cafe was pretty quiet on a weekday lunch~ not sure about the weekends though. But that's how I like cafes to be ;) Don't you hate it when its packed/long waiting time/having to be rushed once you're done with food? Today we had the joy of sipping tea and talking for a long time without having anyone chasing us away. Lol Oh, and I love the cafe's playlist too!! :D

And not to mention, thumbs up for providing uber cute props & decos for photo taking! So insta-worthy right!


He had the Angus Ribeye which was so juicy and good!! I love the seasoning :D


While I had my all time favourite Aglio Olio~ Hahahaha I'm sucha Aglio Olio fan :p This was done pretty well too and they were generous with the bacons and prawns I feel!



Definitely seeing myself coming back often since it's so near work/his place! :D I can't wait to try their Lychee cake!! Heard its superb good!! Wanna try their weekend brunch too!! Lol ahhhh I'm so greedy :( #howtoeverloseweight

Last Friday, I was invited on a live show discussion too by Mediacorp Channel 8! I needed something more formal and presentable so Maybelle passed me this gorgeous black lace dress!

Seafood here is pretty cheap and worth it since they are all so fresh!! But that said, it is still nonetheless a touristy spot and they'll definitely try to rip us as much as possible! So be prepared to do lots of bargaining. If you're not happy with the price offered, simply move on to other stalls since there are plenty there!!

Instavideo taken while eating the live octopus!! It was my first time trying it cuz I chicken-ed out the first time I came to Korea.. LOL It was pretty tasty in all honesty!!! Just a tad uncomfortable cuz the tentacles will kinda 'suck' onto your tongue/gums etc.... But its pretty chewy and yummy!!
