Happy Valentine's Day!!!

Sorry for the lack of updates~ But anyhowz, I did a new video for this Valentine's!! It's a Day to Night Makeup look I hope you all would like it :)

Valentine's Day 2015!

Omgawd has it been the longest time since I took a break from blogging? :O Terribly sorry for being away for sooooo long ;( I am still trying to get used to this 'working' phase. On a typical day after work, I'll head over to H's house for dinner, maybe watch a show or two before returning home. And when I'm back home, all I want is to lie on my precious bed and sleep. (Cycle continues everyday) so yea, it was pretty difficult for me to get my ass on the chair to edit photos/blog~
But anyhowzzzz, better late than never!!! Here's a short update on how my Valentine's day went!

- - - Woke up to see this big bouquet of flowers lying right beside me! Thank you H ❤ 


I also received my first ever orange boxxxxx.  Thank you H and Uncle for choosing such a special present for me :)

Valentine 2014 ❤

On Valentine's Day, I met up with Love pretty late.. like around 8.30pm cuz he had work~ :( So sad ok!! Besides giving tuition in the afternoon, I was home rotting the entire day T_T

Had dinner at Sushi Tei (Tamp1) cuz we were kinda lazy to travel to town~ And the thought of squeezing with lots of couples in town kinda puts us off too lol

My all time favourite from Sushi Tei! Its soooo nice I think I can have 2 servings of this all by myself!!







Headed to Jj's crib and we pretty much spent the entire night just lazing and nua-ing around. Lol #nuacouple4life


The next day~ My family finally had our post CNY reunion steamboat lunch. Lol super belated please!! Jj came over and surprised me with the most gorgeous flowers ever!!!
So so so so colourful and vibrant!! I LOVE :D But I think the florist should have put a blue flower instead of red+hotpink cuz the 2 colours were so similar~

Valentine scrapbook card for him!




Thank you once again for the lovely Pandora Charms!! Super in love with the Valentine Card charm!! Heard its OOS everywhere but he managed to get it from the airport! ^^


K so after the super filling steamboat lunch, we headed to MBS!! 2 DEGREE ICE ART EXHIBITION


Jj didn't want to enter the exhibition though cuz he said it looks small and lame lol :( So we ended up entering the Ice bar only!



I was kinda shocked that there was a super long queue waiting to enter the Ice Bar.. we ended up waiting for almost 45 mins?? Sucha waste of time!!

Anyway, the ICE BAR is really... SUPER COLD. Like barely 5 mins and I was trembling all over even though I had the winter coat + gloves on!

Think it was -15°C ??  Brrrr Brrrr~~

It was so cold it was kinda hard to take the above video/pictures.. much less typing on the phone. Lol




Jj's face is so bigggg compared to mine hehe :p















Anyway... initially while choosing our drinks. Jj wanted to order a bottle and I was like "ARE U MAD!?!?" Then the moment we entered the Ice Bar, barely after 5 mins, he said to me "Omg lucky we didn't open the bottle... I just want to get out of here ASAP!!"  LOOOLLLLL why so cute one!!



If you notice... the cup holding our beer & cocktail are made of ice!! After drinking, you can smash ur cup against the wall lol
Also, the table and chairs are all made of ice too!!


MY LEGS WERE FREEZING SO BADLY.... I couldn't even feel my toes after I came out of the Ice Bar lor. lol
I really highly recommend people to bring ur own scarfs, jackets, gloves, boots and socks etc!! Cuz what they provide will really not be enough to keep you warm in this icy cold place!



Notice the coin on the table??
Well, so I was keeping my change and accidentally dropped the coin on the ice table. I put aside all the other change first before picking this coin up to keep... and to my surprise... I COULDN'T PICK THE COIN UP!!!!! I tried using my nails to like 'hook' the coin up but it was STUCK. Jj tried as well and failed.
The couple beside us saw it and were giggling... and then the guy stood up, used his lighter to kinda burn the ice around the coin... but the coin still wouldn't move at all. LOL
THE COIN WAS FROZEN ON THE ICE TABLE IN LESS THAN 1 MINUTE. So scary please!?!?!? Lol

It was my first ever Valentine with Jj and very unfortunately, I looked SO BAD that day. I blame it on sleeping super late the night before. Think I had only 5hours of sleep? I woke up to a very very puffy and bloated face with hideous eye bags :'(  Ohhh what a great start to a special day!!!
Anyway, I love the flowers Jj got for me, isn't it sooo pretty!! And it is in my favourite colour yay!

Valentine's day or, as men like to call it, EXTORTION DAY is a day whereby most restaurants and florists would insanely jerk up prices of flowers, food, chocolates and so on.. So we are really happy to find out about this restaurant which serves French and Indochinese cuisine at really reasonable prices!


We each had the 3 course meal at only $25/pax!

Chorizo Rolls, Battered Chicken Wings,  Five-Spice Calamari They were all so yummy!! (Omg blogging this at 3.18am I WANT SOME NOWWW!!!)
I really wanted to order their ala-carte Escargots too but sadly it is only available for dinner. Ohwellz.. :(


Time for our Main Courses!



Pork Prime Rib with Mustard Sauce and Crispy Fries. I had this and it was HEAVENLY.


Roasted Beef & Caramelized Onions in Fresh Baguette with Romaine Lettuce and Honey Mustard This was good as well!! I love how crispy the baguette was and the beef was well-cooked too!
 


And the last was our Ice Cream Dessert!! We were kinda stuck choosing between Creme Brulee or this.

in Pistachio flavour!! This was really toothsome! Oh and I think they homemade the icecream?

We then headed to town to shop for our Valentine's prezzies!

Trying on my a new shade of Bobbi Brown Lipstick!! Love it! I've been using Bobbi Brown lipstick for 2 years and I think they work best for me. It sucks to be me because even my lips are SENSITIVE. I remember using a few other brands and my lips started cracking/peeling and even had weird liquid (pus??) coming out. It was so gross and painful. My favourite colours for now are #7 Coral and #8 Bikini Pink :')

This boy SO SWEEEET. Always making cards for me instead of buying ready-made cards. EFFORT LEH for a guy to be doing this!!! And his card really not bad hor, I mean guys are usually bad in handicraft kinda things right... (left is his and right is mine)


Love Birds!! :) I had initially wanted to get a heart padlock with a key charm but it was OOS at tampines, taka, ion.... literally EVERY OUTLET. Damn depressing. So I chose this as an alternative but I think I'm liking this design more over to the padlock now!  SO NO REGRETS.


So many other charms I'd like to get such as the Eiffel Tower, London Bus, luggage, crown.... BUT!!! I shall put all these on hold. Need to save up badly for something bigger - Japan trip!!





Went back to Jj's house and his sister made this pretty lil mini cupcakes for me!!

SOOO SWEEET. She'll make sucha sweet gf in the future .

I also bought flowers for my mum on Valentine's!
