I bet most of you guys have heard about Montigo from your friends.. or have at least came across instagram posts/blogs about Montigo! I was really keen on going but honestly, the price was quite steep~ So when I found out that WorldTravelSg was having a Promo for Montigo at only $93/pax ($90/pax without local tour), I immediately contacted my friends to see who was interested to go together!! :D

Each of us paid $90 + $27(ferry tax) for the whole 2D1N trip (Accomodation + ferry + land transfer + buffet breakfast)

The night creatures us, all ready at the ferry terminal at 9am for Macs breakfast before taking the ferry. YAWNS lol

It was approx a 50 minutes ferry journey to Batam. And another 30 mins of car ride to Montigo Resort.

We were greeted with this BEAUTIFUL view when we came out of the car~ Really thankful for the perfect weather when we were there! Bright and sunny everyday! ☀☀

Check in time was only allowed at 3pm, and we were already there at about... 11am++?

So we settled at the ⤵ restaurant for a quick bite!

The Montigo staff arranged for us to head over to Turi Beach Resort (5 mins away) for Water Sports activities! Montigo would be perfectttt if they had their own activities at their resort... but sadly they don't. They kinda 'outsource' all of their customers to Turi Beach lol

Reached Turi Beach Resort to be greeted with this amazinggggggggggg view!!

Finally~~ It was our turn to ride the jetski!! My partner was Stef while Jj partnered Giam~

It was my first time on the Jetski and I almost cried initially?? The local guy rode the jetski first and kinda gave us a 'tutorial'... it was sooooooooooooo fast I really had the thoughts of returning back to land. Lol Think it kinda gave me phobia so I told Stef to be in charge of the jetski and I'll just be the passenger. Lol

Nonetheless, quite an experience minus us drinking lots of sea water + our eyes were stung by the sea water too!!

LOLLLLLLL Got more act anot!!?!?!?!? Realised 'act act run' was quite fail so we decided to do a real but slow run so that it's easier to be captured on the cam!

Happy to have met this girls in Frolick! It's funny though how we stayed so close even though we are no longer working together now... moreover all of us were different outlet girls? Think I only worked with Vanida 2.. or 3 times in Cathay?? Once with Huizhen in Bugis. And Jas, once in Cathay as well I think?? Lol. Stef is another story all together. We were besties since 13 years old, & we applied Frolick together. Amazingly, both of us got in together in the same batch! Lol

From Turi Beach, we went straight for our dinner at... I forgot where. Some local seafood restaurant!

There were 2 more dishes I think?? Too hungry and forgot all about taking picture hahaha It was only $9/person? Super cheap!!

FINALLY~ BACK TO MONTIGO AND CHECKED IN!!

So all of us washed up and rested for awhile before meeting up again for... DRINKS. Kinda funny cuz Jj, Giam, Stef and I just climbed over the wall and... invaded the other 4's villa. LOL

Lol sigh pies my friends for you hahahaha. No chance given.

Some of them got hungry halfway and so we ordered room service!!

Food was pretty normal though~

All the girls who were trying to hide the makeup-less face and guys went like "WTH??" lol

FINALLY~ to the 3rd level, the roof top for DRINKS + STAR GAZING!! ⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆

And so.. we chilled till the late night like this together~ Until we decided that it was time to return back to our own crib to catch some proper rest~

2nd day.. Woke up in the morning to this view. Sigh I miss this already!

Last photo taken with my favourite Olympus camera.. before my Olympus decided to take a dive and plunged into the swimming pool. Lol I literally buried my whole camera (body + lens) in a bucket of rice for 6 days before retrieving it out, putting in the battery again to see if its able to switch on. Thankfully!!! My camera survived!! The body was saved but sadly, not the lens~ I was quite pissed initially cuz its my favourite camera but nvm its over because friendship comes first above all. Besides, I am going to get my lens later~ Felt abit guilty towards Jas though cuz she had to pay for the replacement of the lens. :(

Kk so after that, went back to our villa and finally, managed to take pictures at the Rooftop in the day!

And also, finally took a dip in our very own private infinity pool inside the villa!!!

It was then time to check out~ Went over to... Mega Mall(??) opp batam ferry terminal for arcade!
