Via Peach Aviation!!
Arrived like 12am and quickly took a cab to Central!
And this is where we stayed:
YEAPS. We stayed at someone's house! For those who don't know, it's called 'Couch Surfing' and it's very cool because there's couch surfers in almost every country... and they are willing to host you at their house for free. We did couch surfing in Hongkong and also in Kyoto! :D it'll save you SO MUCH on accommodation!
So we settled in and turn in for the night cuz it was soooo late and we were sooo tired!
We went to Tim Ho Wan (Sham Tsui Po) for breakkie! It's a 1 star Michelin Restaurant!
Packed packed packed. But surprisingly.. we didn't have to queue at all for a seat! I've seen the queue in PS before and IT WAS MAD. SO MAD....
The Pork Bun was the best!! The bun is crispy unlike those normal soft buns out there.. and the charsiew is so savoury!! Totally craving for one now.. The rest of the dimsum items were normal on the other hand. The meal came up to a total of $22!! Cheap and good yay!
Walked around Sham Tsui Po.. there's ALOT of wholesale shops there actually. But many of them were kinda Auntie-ish clothes.. really gotta open up your eyes to hunt for the nice ones. And even if you managed to hunt some down, they might not sell it to you because they'll only sell it if you order it in bulk. Mehhh. So after awhile, I gave up hope and left!
Then we visited Mongkok for shopping!!
MANGO DESSERT ♥
ARGYLE CENTRE.
This is also where I got my sneaker wedges!
lotsa lotsa countless of stores!
And le poor bf carrying all my loots. lol
Back to Central.. everything just looks so much more atas in Central!!
LONDON SUBWAY!
Went for dinner with our Couch Surfer host!
Some famous Roast Pork/Char Siew stall... I have no idea where it is cuz we kinda followed blindly!
Chicken was normal but the CHAR SIEW WAS.... YUMZ.
Randy, our host!
red light district in Hongkong!
Then we took a train and visited Temple Street!
seriously there's nothing much at Temple Street. We were done with the street in 5mins.. so we asked for directions to Ladies Street! It's about 15mins walk from Temple Street?
An old man dancing on the street and everyone was watching lol
LADIES STREET!
K la Ladies Street also nothing much... damn touristy la the whole place. But I think it's much better than Temple Street!
Soooo tired and that's how we ended Day 1 in Hongkong!
DAY 2
Market near Central
Hongkong Noodles for brunch!
And visited Causeway Bay!
Did Manicure and Pedicure at Ginza Plaza! There's alot of manicure shops so just take your pick la!
Love my soft gel nails!! But a few of them started to peel out the next day. And it happened TWICE. I had to head back to causeway bay twice just to fix my nails. DAMNNN. Luckily it was FOC lol.
If you're in Hongkong, remember to eat CRUMBS!! It's a frozen yogurt stall and the froyo is sooooooo damn creamy, I cannot even emphasize how creamy it was. So yummmmyyyyy!!!!! And best of all.. they had MOCHIS toppings!! :D
With Crumbs and my huge ass cup of Gongcha!!
GALA PLACE to get my Cinderella heels because the one at Ginza Plaza ran out of my size :(
My pretty heels!!! ❤
Then I visited my Hongkong Aunt... she was sick and was hospitalised :(
Ate dinner at some random place because the whole stall was plastered with articles all over! It was also shortlisted by the Michelin guide for 3 consecutive years. So we were thinking it must be quite good la to be even shortlisted. BUT IT WAS SOOOO MEHHH. Really. And quite expensive also. Actually food in Hongkong IS NOT EVEN CHEAP LOR. Every meal at least $6 and above. I mean in Singapore... u can still get a meal at $3 but it's quite impossible in Hongkong. :/
Back home and drinking session with Randy! We introduced the game Circle of Death to him. lol
Then we went crubbbbingggggg
MAGNUM
Karx and I kept club hopping since it was free... and collected so many stickers. Lol
DAY 3
Woke up kinda lateee and had to start packing immediately cuz we were moving out of our comfort zone :( Randy was going to South Africa so we had to shift out. Awwww :( And Jj went to get lunch for me while I was still packing!
Shifted into our new hotel and..
Guys and girls... please... PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND DONT EVER STAY IN CHUNGKUNG MANSION!!! It's actually in a prime location, just opposite Tsim Sha Tsui Station BUT OMGAWD THE CONDITION IS SO BAD. Just look at the picture. We had no place to put our luggage we had to let to put it on the bed. The toilet was beyond redemption. It's like Mustafa... alot of Indians/Blacks over there it was actually quite intimidating and I felt so unsafe :(
Headed out because we couldn't stand staying inside the hotel anymore.
Roamed around Tsim Sha Tsui area!
FOUND MY FAVOURITEEEE BANANA MILK DRINK FROM KOREA.
Had this very awesome dinner at Causeway Bay also. It's just right beside Ginza Plaza!
Then we went back to shit-hole and turned in for the night..
DAY 4
Checked into our new hotel, Butterfly on Prat Road and it was SOOOO AWESOME.
DAY 5
Met my HK Cuzzie for dimsum at Lei Garden!
The dimsum is soooo much better than Tim Ho Wan honestly, they just lack the Char Siew Bun :(
With my Cuzzie!! She actually represents Hongkong in Dragonboat. WHOAAAA
And to Mongkok again..
Headed back to Argyle Centre hehehee
And back to Causeway Bay again (so lame right I know) CUZ I HAD TO FIX MY NAILS
So I ate my favourite food again!!
Then it's finally time to leave Hongkong!!!!
So we caught a movie at IMAX (After Earth)
ke lian de wo men
Had Macs!! The burger too cute... there's pure black and pure white ones. Hehehe
Never thought I had to stay overnight in an airport like this... :(
Our luggages!!
FINALLY TIME TO BOARD THE PLANE. Damn happy la because... WE ALMOST MISSED OUR FLIGHT AGAIN. Joke right... we had to run to catch the plane even when we spent the night in the airport itself.. bahahahaha omg I'm always chasing after my flights one leh..
