I spent a total of 5 days in Myanmar and the experience was really.. out of this world. I felt like I was out of civilisation?? Apart from Yangon, the means of transport in Bagan and Mandalay still remained rather traditional - bicycles, horse, trishaws. Also, there are no street lamps so its practically pitch black at night which was quite intimidating...
This trip was definitely quite an experience and an eye-opener. It made me realised how fortunate I am to be born and raised in Singapore. I can't wait to share more about Mystical Myanmar, a country which has only recently opened up its tourism.
ps/ Ignore my weird clothing combi like cardigan+long skirt etc. I didn't know Burmese are still so conservative. At most of the places especially if you're at the Pagoda, you can't wear anything that reveals your shoulder and shorts/skirt must not be above the knee. Gosh I should have done more research before going ~.~
Wow, Shenny. You've come to Myanmar as well. Even I have never been to Bagan yet. Amazing photos. Did you make any video for this trip too?
