Jrunway Finals x Mother's Day!!

Hi guys!! It's been kinda long since I've updated this space. And I have this tiny winy guilt in me for not updating. Lol. And I really really wanted to update but my life is just too boring at this moment, there's really nothing much I can talk about... other than whining about exams and how much I hate what I am studying :/

So btw, if you have read some of my tweets, you would have realised that I AM IN THE FINALS FOR JRUNWAY CONTEST!! Honestly, this was super surprising because I really joined for fun and I remembered the requirement was super easy. Like just have to submit a picture of myself? Then there was also public voting BUT it wasn't just internet voting. Voters actually had to spend a certain amount of money in Jrunway in order to be eligible to vote. Obviously, I didn't want to trouble any of my friends to spend money just to vote for me.. So I pretty much thought that I would be out of this contest, especially when there were more than 300 applicants!!
Until sometime last week, I received the confirmation email from Jrunway that I was voted into the finals!! I was super duper shocked & happy at the same time la cuz it was really unexpected and it really came off as a surprise!! Really gotta thank all the Jrunway shoppers who voted for me!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

After the contest, there's also a Jstar after party event (Tokyo Fashion Night by BARK in STYLe). Kinda excited about this because I'll be walking down the runway with the professional models from Japan!!!! Okay la actually feeling quite nervous because I know nuts about runway walk... But alright I am just going to enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime experience!! :D If you're interested, you can come for the after party event too!

With macarons from Ladurée!!! 

So excited about the macarons because literally EVERYONE was flooding my IG with Ladurée macarons pictures! If you don't already know, Ladurée opened their first branch in Singapore at Takashimaya and the macarons are specially imported from Ladurée in Europe, about 3-4 times a week.

Had English tea to go with too!! Super nice!!


My favourites are MARIE ANTOINETTE MACARON and the ROSE PETAL!! They were sooo good compared to the rest which were quite normal. I think Canele macarons have about comparable standards leh. Just my opinion. Like let's say if the queue at Ladurée is ridiculously long, I think I would just head over to Canele to satisfy my cravings instead!
