Paris is always a good idea❤

Finally got down to sorting out & editing my Paris pictures! Took crazily lots of photos so imma gonna split it into 2 posts! And here is Part 1:


Gosh time flies!!!! In about 1.5 months time, it'll be a year since I been to Paris last year. Sigh I miss Europe so much, especially London!


We took a flight to Paris from London (cuz Eurostar was crazily overpriced!) before changing to a local train to get into Paris city!


We only booked this hotel when we arrived in Paris (yes we were this unprepared lol)! It is a budget hotel (Hotel Gérando) so it was pretty affordable, only SGD$88/night! Location was kinda good too (Station: Anvers) which is quite central and easily accessible to many attractions!

And as most buildings in Paris, really diggin' the small lil balcony outside the room!


Quickly settled in before tucking into our first meal in Paris - JAP FOOD!!!!

I guess that's just how much we miss Asian food 

We then walked over to Sacré-Cœur Basilica which was only a few mins walk from our hotel!

Lol we spent so much time snapping photos at the carousel! Finally made it up to the foot of Sacré-Cœur Basilica where we took even more photos

I remember I was telling Stef this place is DAMN CHIO based on my memories on my first trip to Paris when I was 21! And yup, it really still was so pretty and captivating! As much as I hate how the air smells like in Paris (honestly, it smells like poop & pee especially around the train stations), I really can't deny that Paris is a romantic city :)

We were also entertained by this guy & his amazing ball-controlling skills! Lol How can you control it so well when you're in mid air!?!?




Settled for an early dinner since we were both rather tired from the early flight/finding of hotels etc Had steak for the most of my meals in Paris! By the end of our 3rd day I was pretty sick of the food in Paris, the standard choices were always either steak or pasta. Lol.


Also had this lovely Panna Cotta!! So freaking good!! My love for panna cotta increased exponentially ever since this Paris trip. Lol!

Ps: Ignore my fugly disgusting brown nails!! It was all white in Singapore and it turned into pale yellow while I was in London. Then it became kinda brown after about a week in Europe. Yuckzzz damn gross?? Not sure if it's the air or the tap water, its so not clean please

After dinner, we took a slow stroll to Moulin Rouge! It's a stop away via the train from where we stayed but we decided to walk to explore the streets! It took us about 10mins by foot and boyyyy it was SO cold!! *shivers*


Honestly.... nothing much here! Pretty much a red light district~


A slow stroll back to the hotel again with the entire stretch filled with such sex shops lol



DAY 2 Pasta for brunch! 

I remembered feeling DAMN SLEEPY right after we ate. It's like instantaneous food coma.  You guys must be thinking we are such crazy people but well, yes we headed back up to the hotel to nap for another 1 hour before heading out to explore again  we are such sleepyheads lol

Agenda on our 2nd day was to visit the Eiffel Tower! How can we ever miss this out right!

Kinda heartache while looking through these photos, at how close we used to be, at how once your best friend can become a stranger... :'(
We didn't go up the Eiffel tower as 1. The long queue was insane! 2. I've been up before and 3. Stef didn't feel like it anyway cuz it wasn't cheap at all~ So we left for an early dinner instead! Managed to catch the sunset while we were walking back towards the train station!


Ahhh such a lovely sight! The sun casting its golden rays on the Eiffel Tower!
We had our dinner and came out of the restaurant to be greeted with the fully lighted Eiffel!




We then headed to Arc De Triomphe located at the famous shopping street - Champs-Élysées

Spent the rest of the night strolling around Champs-Élysées, shopping & buying stuff before retiring for the night~

Gave up editing this picture because it's so orangy! Lol so B&W it shall be!
Can't wait to blog more about my 2nd part of Paris and London adventures!! I really need to stop procrastinating
