Guide to 4D3N in Boracay!

Many of you guys have been asking me to do a blog post on my recent Boracay trip!
So here it goes~~ Hopefully it'll be useful :D

DAY 1
We took Tigerair to Kalibu Airport. Ticket was around $250/pax inclusive of luggage and food on board!
P1010081a

The journey to Boracay itself was pretty tedious!
After the flight, it took us another 2 hours by car to the jetty, then another 10 mins of boat ride and 5 mins of tricycle ride to reach Boracay Station 3!
P1010081b

We stayed at an Airbnb place cuz honestly, I couldn't decide on the hotels. Tried searching for hotels along the beaches but they were super $$$ (and they don't even look impressive to be honest), while the cheaper ones are located further away from the beaches.
I finally tried searching on Airbnb and came across Blue Peter House which was only less than a minute walk to the beach!! I would say it only takes 30 seconds lol. Reviews were all super good and it was only $70++/night? I quickly booked it without any hesitation!
P1010083a
The room was comfortable and I really enjoyed my stay here :)
Here's the link to Peter's airbnb profile: Blue Peter House
Don't be daunted by Peter's fierce profile picture... hahaha I swear he's the nicest man ever!!

It was already 5.30pm by the time we arrived on the island itself, so we quickly got to work!!
Time to snap some of my outfits  ;)
P1010091
P1010099

I'll never forget the beautiful sunsets in Boracay

P1010114 P1010113

We then took a slow stroll to another part of Station 3, almost nearing Station 2 for our dinner! Took us about 10-15mins by foot?
P1010116
P1010120
Loving the beach dining vibes :)

FINALLY FOUND THE RESTAURANT!!
DOS MESTIZOS (Ranked #12 on Tripadvisor)
P1010123

Dos Mestizos serves Spanish Tapas food!
P1010124

H did the ordering since he's very familiar with Spanish Tapas food.... I was just snapping photos and eating. The dishes were soooooo good!!! Especially the beef.... ahhhh yumz
P1010128a
And what they are well known for - Paella!!
P1010135

However, this meal was probably the most expensive meal we had in Boracay!
Well, to be honest, dining in Boracay itself isn't cheap at all compared to other parts of Philippines~
An average meal for 2 pax in Boracay is about $30? This meal costed us almost $100 inclusive of alcohol.
P1010132
Dos Mestizos is located at Station 3.

We were pretty tired from all the travelling and turned in extra early that night :)

DAY 2
Woke up bright & early at 9am and saw this view outside of our room!!!
The beach is definitely quieter and less crowded as compared to Station 1 & 2.
P1010140
P1010141
Ahhh such clear blue skies and sea & fine sand.... MISS THIS!!

This calls for a selfie
P1010144 P1010143

Came across this sandcastle at the middle of no where and thought it was really interesting!! After I took a shot of this, a few boys came up to me demanding money cuz they claimed the castle was built by them so if I wanna have pictures taken, I gotta pay. I felt damn cheated, I mean... seriously?? They must have been hiding behind trees waiting for potential tourists like us to fall trap lor. :(
Ohwellz............. lesson learnt. lol
P1010146

Headed to the middle part of Station 3 to have our Parasailing!!!
P1010150

On the speedboat out to the open sea :D
I think it was about $30/pax for the Parasailing ride!
P1010154a
P1010159
P1010162

Thank you H for accompanying me on the ride even though you are not a fan of heights!
P1010164
Flying up.... and honestly I was a little afraid myself too. Hahahaha

P1010170
P1010173
Up high in the sky!

Hahaha our boatman cum camera man damn cute!?!?? He took my camera and took such interesting shots for me :D He even recorded videos for me even though I didn't tell him to! Damn good
P1010176a

Selfies in the air!
P1010180fa
P1010180fb

This $30 was so worth it compared to the one I paid in Phuket!
The parasailing I did in Phuket only lasted like..... 3 mins?? It was literally go up and come down lol. However in Boracay, we stayed in the air for at least a good 15-20minutes... until I felt nauseous and wanted to puke
P1010180g
P1010183

P1010187a

I also drove the speedboat back to shore. Hahahah i kid la. Only drove it for a mere 30seconds for this picture hehee. Our boatman sped damn freaking fast back to shore... it felt like rollercoaster!! So exhilarating lah I was screaming non stop
P1010199
Lunch was at YELLOW CAB PIZZA (Ranked 43rd on Tripadvisor)
P1010204
It was good and pretty legit to me!! Read alot of positive reviews so we decided to try it out!
Maybe cuz we were hungry so it tasted exceptionally nice to us?? Hahhaa H even wanted to dapao more back lol. This is also one of our cheapest meals in Boracay!
P1010207
Yellow Cab Pizza is located at Station 2.

P1010226
P1010234
More outfit shots...
P1010258
P1010262
P1010270

Frolicking in the sea!! It was sooooo hot, being in the cooling water seems like the only option hehe
I swear I nua-ed in the water for so damn long. Until I was afraid I'd become tanner then I decided that it was enough and came out of it. Lol

Selfie non stop in the water hahahaha opps

Candid shot by the boy
P1010270s

Chilled at Red Pirates Bar which is right outside where we stayed. Only like... 5 seconds away. hahahhaa. We chilled over at Red Pirates Bar most of the time... the bartender is really good and I enjoyed the cocktails he made. It was also damn cozy and convenient for us..... & that explains why we were there every single night.
P1010281

Showered and took even more outfit shots. Xin ku le H. Big hugs for him!!
P1010343a
P1010347

Gorgeous sunset every evening :)
P1010350
P1010360
P1010361

H and I chilled with Peter and wife over sunset @ Red Pirates Bar before heading for dinner!
So much talks and laughter, I miss it!!!
P1010366
Dinner was at PARAISO GRILL (Ranked 103th on Tripadvisor)
P1010370
Fresh seafood by the beach! It wasn't too bad except that I thought it was quite pricey. This was our 2nd most expensive meal in Boracay! Lol

P1010369a
Paraiso Grill is located at Station 2.

Chill vibes only
P1010377

We probably spent the night drinking cocktails again at Red Pirates Bar while engaging in small talks with some of the locals before retiring for the night :)

DAY 3
P1010399
P1010408
P1010415

Had a late breakfast/early lunch @ LEMONI CAFE (Ranked 5th on Tripadvisor)
P1010416
P1010419

I tried their famous Tiger Prawns Risotto while H had some beef thingy lol
P1010422a
The risotto was SO.FREAKING.GOOD + DAMN AFFORDABLE
I think Lemoni Cafe was probably my favourite dining place I tried at Boracay! Please visit here!!

P1010423

We also tried their Mango Madness which was insanely yummehzzz. Me want some nowz
P1010426
Lemoni Cafe is located in Station 2, inside D'Mall.

We then took a tricycle and headed to Puka Beach!
P1010430
P1010433
P1010440a

The waters here were insanely clear!! x 100 clearer that of White Beach!!
But it was also x 100 hotter than White Beach
P1010450
P1010459a
P1010467
P1010479a
P1010530 P1010524
P1010532 P1010534
P1010538a

It was also less crowded than White Beach! Good for phototaking hehe
P1010539

We then headed to Boracay Horse Stables thinking we could ride the horses around White Beach.... but to be told we can't . We could only ride it on Bulabog Beach which is a 2hours journey on the horse back. We didn't have the time for it so we just took a few photos with the horse at the stables! lol
P1010551a
85% of the time, I was really afraid of the horse. So afraid that it'll go berserk and kick me?? Lol
H said I think too much but don't you feel me!?!?!?!?

P1010542
Another attempt with the horse but still got the gek-sai face LOL

P1010541
Okay that's not that bad!! But look how unwilling the horse is...... LOL

Mustered enough courage and went up the horse to take a few more shots.
This time round I was even more afraid cuz if it goes berserk means I confirm drop down from it and imagine if it runs around and stamps on me.... confirm injured gao gao right. Hahahahah just damn scared :'(
P1010546

We went back to Station 1 in search of Jonah's Fruitshake!
P1010554
P1010563

JONAH'S FRUITSHAKE (Ranked 28th on Tripadvisor)
P1010589

We had the Banana Choco Peanut Shake which was highly recommended when I read blogs/reviews/forums online. It was good la but I am not a fan of peanuts... so I didn't go gaga over it like how the others did. If you're a fan of peanuts, then this is a must try for you!!
P1010592
P1010595

Back to Station 3 for more pictures!
P1010603
P1010605
P1010607
P1010616

Peter and wife brought us to this new 5 stars hotel located at Station 3, very sorry but I really can't recall the name at all :( It was happy hour and we had 1 for 1 cocktails. Drank till seh hahahahahaha
P1010619

And we caught pretty sunsets over there again!
Really damn shiok to see such beautiful sunsets every single evening. :)

P1010623
P1010627a
P1010637

Cotton Candy Skies!!
P1010639
P1010645
Dinner was @ SPICEBIRD (Ranked 3rd on Tripadvisor)
P1010648a
Serves Peri Peri chicken, pork etc! Cheap & good!

P1010651
Spicebird is located at Station 2, inside D'Mall.

We spent the remaining night by the beach seats of Red Pirates Bar sipping cocktails once again and star gazing!! There were just SO MANY STARS. I tried capturing them, can see a few of them la hor? hehe
P1010655

DAY 4
Sigh, it's the last day already!!
P1010661
P1010711
P1010712

We had brunch @ THE SUNNY SIDE CAFE (Ranked 2nd on Tripadvisor)
P1010714
P1010717

I guess I was expecting alot out of it since it was ranked 2nd.... but it really disappointed us :(
Even Lemoni Cafe was far way better!!
P1010715a
Still, the food wasn't that bad lah. Maybe we just ordered the wrong items? Hmmm
The Sunny Side Cafe is located at Station 3.

A photo together before leaving! Thank you for hosting us and thank you for the beautiful memories :)
Btw, don't you think Peter looks 99% alike Mr Bean?? Lol SO CUTE LA!!
P1010721
I'll definitely be back to visit Boracay again (& DEFINITELY WITH LESSER OUTFITS) so that I can truly enjoy my time here, without having to rush to take outfit shots!!
So many more things that I wanna try but we kinda lack the time for it~

P1010722
A picture with the boy too! I think its only easier to take pictures with him when we are overseas?? But even so, it's still pretty difficult. Lol. I had to keep telling him "Its for memories, for our memories!!! Please???" then he'll agree reluctantly
Take pictures like really taking away his life lol

P1010724
It was pretty high tide the day we left and it felt storm-ish.... hahahah probably it rained heavily the day we left? Damn grateful for the awesome weather when we were there!! It was sunny every single day :D

PS: We didn't check out any clubs etc since H doesn't really like to party. He prefer pubs/chilling thats why we were in pubs mostly. So sorry!! No tips on the partying life there in Boracay! But if it helps, all the parties are crowded in Station 2 :)

Also if it helps, here are the other activities I wished I could do if I had more time:
 Cliff Diving
 Crystal Cove Tour
 Ocean Tower / Mount Luho

Places to eat
From Station 1:
 Cafe Del Sol (Ranked 29th)
The Original Hawaiian Bar-B-Que (Ranked 73rd)
 Zuzuni for Chocolate Mati Sin

From Station 2:
Smoke Restaurant (D'Mall) for Beef Salpicao (Ranked 20th)
Real Coffee & Tea for Calamansi Muffin (Ranked 50th)

From Station 3:
Talipapa Market for fresh seafood (Ranked 37th)

From Bulabog Beach:
Los Indiis Bravos Boracay (Ranked 1st, I really wanted to try this but no time sobs)
Lazy Dog Bed & Breakfast (Ranked 15th)

I did quite abit of research on the food part but there's only so much we can eat while we were there so.... I'll leave the rest for our next trip :D That's all guys!!

Hope these info would be useful for your trip planning!
Love,
Shenny

  1. Seems you guys really had fun! My recent trip to the Philippines was a huge success too! I just came back from my 3 days and 2 nights vacation from Boracay and we just had the perfect weather! We loved the whole experience in the island especially at the Bulabog beach. And I absolutely love the atmosphere at boracay beachfront hotel
