Manchester visuals
Hello all!!
Finally have the energy today to sort & edit the photos so that I can blog! I've been so tired it's insane :(
I can never get sick of plane-sky shots! They are never the same in each picture!
And finally after 15hours of flight.......... I SPOT LONDON!! :D
So happy to be back again after 3 years :)
Took a train to central London before changing into yet another train to Manchester!
Pretty much spent the entire day 1 on train rides~
By the time after checking in and settling down, it was almost 5pm++?
And the sky is already so dark at 5pm! Sun sets at about 430pm over in the UK cuz its Autumn.
I can't imagine how early the sun will set during winter man~
Anyhowz.... MANCHESTER WAS TERRIBLY COLD.
And obviously I wasn't properly geared for that kinda cold weather.... so I went shopping and bought myself additional knit sweaters and outers at Primark and H&M! :D
And back to the hotel for dinner :)
I stayed at Doubletree by Hilton if you guys are curious! Love the location!! It's just a 5mins walk to Market Street where all the shops are ;)
DAY 2
Outfit for day 2!
And had Nando's for lunch! The Nando's in UK is so so so much better!
I also had the chance to visit Manchester City Football Club!
I know there are alot of Man United fans here in Singapore... and like some of these people even commented on my ig (quite fiercely in my opinion) on how I had visited the wrong club etc etc.
Hey you guys, CHILL PLEASE.
Firstly, I am not even a football fan so I am fine with wherever I go to!
I went to Manchester City cuz 2 of my friends are fans of this club ok!
Also, its my holiday, not yours ya??
One reason why I wore this outfit that day was cuz it has the No 7 on it!!
Thought it'd be appropriate since we were going to the football club LOL
Anyway.... it was a wasted trip down since we reached too late?
The last tour was at 3.30pm and we only arrived at like 3.45pm~ :(
So to compensate the wasted trip... we got ourselves a jersey each! Lol
Yay 7 my favourite number! ;D
Back to Market Street for even more shopping & walking~
Hahah what a candid shot.
That day was one of my friend's birthday too so we had a birthday celebration!
Dinner was at Manchester House by Award Winning Chef Aiden Byrne.
We each had the 12 course taster menu which was absolutely yummmmyyy!!
Goats butter brioche, chestnuts and turnips
Rice crackers with cepes, seaweed and smoked anchoives
Venison tartare and roast chicken skin consomme
Cauliflower panna cotta and salt cod mousse
Steamed wild sea bass, basil sauce and brown crab
Squab pigeon, gingerbread, spiced cherry and foie gras
Roastd scallop, white chocolate and truffle risotto
Beetroot poached salmon, fennel, razor clam and citrus salad
Chicken breast, savoy cabbage puree and smoked foie gras
Apple and eucalyptus sorbet, elderflower granite
Blackcurrant, lime cream and liquorice
Macroons
Each and every dish were delight to the tastebuds! Probably the only thing that wasn't to my liking was the sorbet cuz it was toooo sour for me. Everything else was really good!
It was quite pricey though.. like $800 for the 3 of us?
Eat already abit heart pain but I guess its okay to splurge on ourselves once in a while? Lol
DAY 3
Woke up bright and early and finally went for the Man City football tour!
This is where the players/VIPS etc dine at!! So atas plz? Lol
SO BIG AND GRAND!!!
And cold.... brrrr
Where they'll hold the press conference! Hahahha
I am sitting at the manager's seat! ;p
The gym where the players warm up at!
Hmm..... place where the players run out from. Lol
They were on the same tour as us and OMGAWD THEY ARE ALL SO CUTE?!?!?!?!
There are alot more to the tour but I didn't take much pictures!
It was quite interesting ;) Hahahaha it'd have been better if I could have watched a match there and then!!
How much I love Autumn!!!
Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower :)
Prolly one of the few rare modern cities where horses are still legal on roads.
CAN I HAVE MY WEDDING HERE IN UK PLZZZZ
Then I can have my white horse + carriage dream come true hahahahahahaha
Last meal before leaving Manchester!
I was craving for meat badly so we settled at a Grill place!
THIS IS MY FIRST TIME TRYING RAW OYSTERS!!
Always been afraid of the 'smelly' taste/smell but my friends kept reassuring me that the oysters are freaking fresh and that I should give it a try~ Glad I did cuz.... they were really yummy!!!
Hahaha oh god what have I been missing out on all these while!!
It was a great time in Manchester and I hope to revisit it soon again! ;)

DeleteManchester is a beautiful city and one I am always proud to call home! When visiting you really must indulge in the variety of restaurants on offer and shopping available. After all, it is these and the array of cultures that make the city of Manchester so incredible!
