Cebu Day 1 & 2: Oslob
Cebu in Philippines is definitely one of the more memorable holidays I had this summer!
I've always wanted to visit here after seeing an instagram post some time ago that the girl I followed went snorkelling with whale sharks!! And on one of those random days, I mentioned to Z about it and he promised to bring me here on a birthday trip :>
It was quite an impromptu trip I'd say! I was really clueless on where to go except showing Z pictures after pictures of where I wanna go (but no idea where it was located lol) so I really gotta thank him alot for planning the entire 7 days itinerary! :)
* * *
Day 1: Cebu City
We took Tiger Airways to Cebu and hopped into a cab to our hotel!
We stayed at Quest Hotel, Cebu City.
We were pretty tired on the first day and did nothing much except walking around the mall opposite the hotel~
And had dinner at Cafe Laguna!
Hahaha felt kinda weird that the cafe was serving local cuisines! I thought it'd be western style!
Halo Halo, one of their local dessert!
And we also stock up on alot of snacks/drinks so we could munch during car journeys~ Haha greedy us
Hahha and here's me posing with erm... pineapples and bananas. LOL
Wanted to instagram a picture badly but there were ZERO photo worthy spots and I thought the fruits were the prettiest... Hahahhaa.
Lucky I didn't ig it cuz when we were on our way back to the hotel, we walked past the bus interchange and the lorry-buses were all super eye-catching!!! Definitely much more photo worthy?? haha :p
And ermmzzzz.... called for room service + in-room massage as well!
Hahahah #foreverhungry #foreverneedmassage
DAY 2: OSLOB
Day 2 was one of the highlight out of this entire trip!
We woke up at like.... 3AM??!?! Ridiculously early but anything for you whale sharkys! ♡
We booked a private car who picked us up from the hotel at 4am!
For bookings you may email him Danny (dannymar07@yahoo.com.ph)
Journey to Oslob took about 3hours++ by car I think??
We reached at about 7.30am!
First stop at Oslob was to swim with the Whale Sharks!! :D
Gotta be there super early cuz I think the whale sharks will leave by like.. 10am or 11am? The tides will also be high and it'll be quite difficult to snorkel!
DID I MENTION HOW MUCH I LOVE GOPRO!!!!!!!!
Without it, I wouldn't have been able to capture all these once-in-a-lifetime-moments!!
Thank you Sam from John 3:16! Yall wanna buy cameras go find him ok! His shop is at Funan & he is damn friendly and nice!! :D Don't say I never share where I get all my camera gadgets from ;)
Whoopp! Spotted one whale shark while I was still on the boat!!
Finally plucked the guts and jumped into the water! :D
The boatman are all super Gopro savvy ok!!
All these pictures were taken by our boatman!! :D
Water so clear!??! My selfie so damn clear lol
Alamak camera strap why u enter the pic also!!
Otherwise this would be quite a good pic ;)
Ohya see that guy above Z and I? He's another boatman.... and he helps to 'push' us down into the water so that we would be deep enough to take photos with the whale shark, while the other boatman faster snaps pictures for us. Hahahah super coordinated I tell you!!
There are about 15 whale sharks I think?? Pretty scary.
Every corner, front back left right... bound to see one beside you. Lol. And we had to try our best to siam away from them!
Ok that's all from the 30mins snorkel with the whale sharks :)
What a memorable experience! :)
Oh and Erjie was coincidentally in Cebu as well and decided to join us at Oslob! :)
Here's us having lunch together!
Beach themed nails!
(Nails by Lily Xu, Far East Plaza)
If you're in Cebu, the 2nd must visit place is Tumalog Falls!
Danny dropped us outside and we can either walk in/take a bike (cuz the slopes are too narrow+steep for a car). We chose the bike cuz it was only about $1 for a trip I think!
Quite an exciting ride lol. Pretty dangerous too. #yolo
And finally at Tumalog Falls!! :D
Sorry my annoying finger decided to be part of the picture. lol
PRETTIEST WATERFALL. Its really super pretty and chill and relaxing!!!!
Not to mention the water was CRAZILY COOLLLLDDDD. brrrrr
Damn sad I actually forgot to selfie with the waterfall?? Lol
Hmmm, a little weird to be posting this picture but its a nice picture afterall so thought I'd just share it!
Photo taken by my dearest Erjie♡
An accidental shot which turned out really pretty?!
A shot of the sky and trees :)
So we were done with Tumalog Falls and since we still had some time, we decided to visit Kawasan Falls.
Enroute to Kawasan Falls and look at the 3 tones of the sea!!!!
I randomly snapped this from inside the car and it still turned out so pretty!! Omggg...
Stopped by for a toilet break and used the chance for a picture with the awesome background!
I look so tired though after swimming with the whale sharks + swimming at Tumalog Falls :(
So we arrived at the entrance of Kawasan Falls!
Takes about another 20mins by foot to reach it~
THE STREAM SO PRETTY AND CLEAR I CANNOT..... super wanna jump in and swim can!!
FINALLY.
KAWASAN FALLS
splash water lol
K so that was pretty much it!!
I really love Oslob and it was so much fun that day :D
Slept the entire journey back to Cebu cuz we were soooooooooo dead tired :(
Showered and headed back to the mall for dinner at Jollibee! :)
