Yoogane Singapore!

P1010127

I guess I have just found a new place to satisfy my Korean food cravings - YOOGANE!
Established in 1981, Yoogane pride themselves as one of the most popular and best Chicken Galbi Restaurants in Korea

And Shanice was my dining partner for the night!

Yoogane is extremely well received in Busan , Korea - where it all started. Despite fierce competition from other restaurants specializing in chicken galbi, they were able to achieve tremendous success. The unique blend of sauces and seasoning that they have developed using top and fresh ingredients is what sets them apart from others.

A wide range of Korean drinks can be found here at Yoogane too such as Soju etc!
Even the soda drinks here are imported from Korea!

So first up, we had the Yoogane Chicken Galbi ($16.90).
Yoogane's unique spicy sauce marinate with tender chicken thigh meat and fresh vegetables.

Portion was generous, feeds 2-3pax so it's pretty worth it for the price!
The chicken was well marinated too and superrrrr tenderrrrrr! YUMZ

And, you don't have to worry if you don't know how to cook cuz the waiters are all super well-trained in this aspect (just that sometimes it might get a lil busy)! Some of them even flew all the way to Korea to receive training from the Korean counterparts! ;)

Complimentary free flow side dishes!
The coleslaw is kinda interesting cuz the dressing is actually homemade strawberry sauce! Talk about creativity!

P1010070
Sticky or Ramyeon Noodles to add on to your Chicken Galbi! I personally prefer the Ramyeon noodles!
You can stir and fry them all together, just like the gif image below :)

Other than Chicken Galbi, they do serve many other authentic Korean dishes as well~

Japchae
Bean vermicelli stir-fried with assorted vegetables and tender chicken strips.

Naengmyeon (Cold Noodles)
Best summer's choice! A refreshing taste! It was actually my first time trying cold noodles and it was surprisingly DAEBAK!! I especially love the texture of the noodles, super soft and chewy and bouncy?!? Lol its damn qq la!
Both the faces of Shanice and I lighted up when we had our first bite! lol

Egg Rolls
Eggs can never go wrong... yes??

By now, both Shanice and I were freakingggggg full but we were being served the next popular dish -
SEAFOOD & CHICKEN GALBI
($48.90).
Yoogane's unique spicy sauce marinate with tender chicken thigh meat, baby octopus, squids, prawns and a variety of seafood.

When the chicken & other seafood are approx 3/4 cooked, the waiter added in the marinated baby octopus to finish off the entire dish!
If you're s seafood lover, go for this set to have the best of both worlds!

And that's not all...
P1010109
Shanice and I also had the Cheese Fried Rice!
It wasn't as good as the other dishes that I've tried that night (or probably I was too full by now) so.... I would still recommend the Chicken / Seafood & Chicken Galbi set! :D

Korean Style Seafood Pancake
An absolute favourite. Korean style pancakes with fresh seafood and vegetables. I wiped out this dish almost all by myself. Lol *guiltyyyyyyy*

FINALLY!!!
To end off the whole dinner, we had desserts! I will always have the extra space for desserts!
P1010121
Forgot what this is called but it's almost 90% similar to Macs Ice Cream Cone!

P1010123
Yummehhhz.

It is however, not for sale to the public. :(
Only available to Yoogane VIP Card Holders and for certain credit/debit card promotions! Do ask the friendly staff to know more :)
