The Tiramisu Hero & Strictly Pancakes #cafehopping

Finally had the chance to try The Tiramisu Hero since we were around the vicinity!



AGLIO OLIO, $14.90 This was so-so! The pasta was kinda dry though, wished there was more oil and garlic!! I am a fan of Aglio Olio so personally... this wasn't up to my expectations :(




CHEFCHEF CURRY BAKED RICE, $12.50 This was one of their signature dish and it's really pretty good! At least better than the Aglio Olio! Heh They were really generous with the chicken btw!! :)






Upgraded my Aglio Olio to a meal for an additional $5 and it comes along with this Chunky Mushroom Soup and Iced Tea/Dessert! Really wanted the dessert though (think it was mud pie for that day) but it ran out of it so... I had the Iced Tea instead~


BAKED CHEESY CHICKEN, $17 Oven-baked boneless chicken leg served with portobello mushrooms and garden vegetables


The muscles guys who needed their protein very much. Lol


FINALLY IT'S TIME FOR DESSERTS!! They are really famous for their tiramisu so I couldn't wait to try them!


We tried it in 2 flavours - Original and Lemon Lavender. I prefer the Original Tiramisu hands down!! Sooooo freaking yummy :D

The food here isn't really exceptionally good.. but the ambience and desserts definitely made up for it! ;)

I was actually pretty undecided between trying out The Tiramisu Hero or Strictly Pancakes.  So I asked Jj if we could visit both places in the same day cuz.... well... I AM GREEDY LIKE THAT. Thankfully he agreed so yup.. right after dinner at The Tiramisu Hero, we went to Strictly Pancakes!
Since we were all still pretty full, the 4 of us ordered 2 different pancakes to share!
THE DESSERT PANCAKE:
WHAT-A-SPREAD! Peanut Butter Pancakes layered with Nutella served complete with Kinder Bueno and a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream!
Spells... S I N F U L !!!!!!!!



THE SAVOURY PANCAKE:

GARLIC BUTTERED PRAWNS Served with prawns buttered generously with garlic and cherry tomato salad on the side for an aromatic, mouth-watering treat!
THIS WAS DAYUMMMMMMM! Super good!??!? The sauce especially!!! Freaking love! I thought it'd be weird to have a savoury pancake but this garlic buttered prawns really proved me wrong! I am not quite a fan of pancakes usually... The only one I really love was IHOP I had in US years back... so I'm quite happy that I have found another pancake place which I love! :D

Really wanna visit here again and try out ALL the other savoury pancakes! Lol

Heading out to eat now (again!) Today is our 22nd Monthsary! I wanted to settle for somewhere near like Coastal Settlement or Wawawa Bistro at Bedok Reservoir.. but Jj suggested Korean BBQ so... yup gonna move my ass to Chinatown now. Till then!!
