BonChon Chicken & Dylan's 1st Year Birthday!

Had a photoshoot yesterday at STUDIOBLACK!



Sorry I just had to camwhore... the lighting was just too perrrfect!! Anyway, STUDIOBLACK is soooo nice?? I mean compared to Candle where I always had my photoshoot done.. Studioblack is obviously more spacious and all! And also they provide free props for your photoshoot.. like caps, sunglasses, heels, bags etc!! It is conveniently located at Haji Lane as well!


Was informed of the photoshoot pretty last minute so I didn't even have the time to head down to Shunji Matsuo to touch up my roots/workout and diet like mad!! :( Dammmnn I hope the pictures turn out fine!! ^^



After photoshoot... had lunch at BONCHON CHICKEN! This restaurant serves Korean Fried Chicken! Super excited about it initially cuz I love korean fried chicken!! Its super yummy.. if you're in Korea you MUST try it!! Sigh pies I miss Korea and all the awesome food!!

Ordered both Soy Garlic and Spicy flavour for the chicken. Jj prefers the spicy while I prefer the Soy Garlic.. BUT BUT BUT. It is really no where near those Korean Fried Chicken in Korea. The real deal is so much better!!
Anyway, I think NENE CHICKEN serves better korean fried chicken than Bonchon so I'd recommend NENE more!








Also had this Passion Maki! Thought it was quite okay but Jj just said it was MEHH. He was comparing this to Shiok Maki.. obviously this would be much inferior la!! But I think the 2 are different and cannot be compared cuz Shiok Maki has alot of melting cheese mayo while this does not have any cheese.

So Dylan is very into CARS.... Like when he see cars passing by he will be super attentive and keep mouthing the word 'Car' and go 'Vrrrooommm'. Omg this 1 year old boy damn smart!! So 'Cars' was the theme for his birthday party!

And there's this tradition whereby you lay out stuff like stethoscope (doctor), hammer (lawyer/judge), calculator (accountant, finance..) etc.. and the birthday boy gotta pick an item out of these.  So let's say if he picks a stethoscope means he'll be a doctor in the future! Dylan was put up to the test......

AND HE PICKS THE HAMMER!! Future lawyer/judge to be please!!

Dajie wasn't happy because she wants Dylan to be doctor instead. And now instead of placing the 3 items side by side... she placed the stethoscope the nearest to him while the hammer was super far away...

Lol and Dylan bypassed everything and reach out for the hammer again!! #thisboysuperpersistent #confirmjudgetobe

Anyway.. school is starting tomorrow for me! Super excited but also feeling down at the same time. I have like a 4 hours break everyweek from 1130am-330pm and I am all alone.. I feel so sad. I need friends to accompany me for lunch!! Life without Jj is so bad :( Have to travel to school myself and travel back myself... URGH slash wrist. 
By the way, since school is starting.. I am thinking of doing a 'BACK TO SCHOOL MAKEUP TUTORIAL' for yguys!! What do you think? YAY OR NAY?
