Shunji Matsuo by Lily Xu: September Hair!

Finally had the time to fix my hair a few days back and this is how it looks like now!!

MAJOR ♥♥♥ !!! The past few days, I had so many people (in person/instagram/fb) telling me how good I look in my current new hair! :D


For those who don't know (how can u not know!!?), I was a 'blondie' for the past 2 months!


The downside of having a light coloured hair??  When your roots start growing, IT IS SUPER OBVIOUS TTM!!!

I didn't dye my hair in August cuz I wanted to give my hair a break, and only went for hair treatments.. so you could see the obvious black roots growing out in contrast to the blonde hair!!


So anyway.. I happily made my way down to I*CON Shunji Matsuo by Lily Xu cuz I can't wait to revive my hair!! And like I shared in my previous post.. Shiseido has this whole new range of ASH COLOURS series which are absolutely amazing ballz. Let me show you some...

Super love the colour Be13!! Its like a white-blonde kinda colour!! But my hair really NEEDS a break from all those bleaching so I gave this very pretty colour up. :(


Love the LA13 ash purple over here!! Can u imagine if I dyed my entire head in this colour? Lol I think my mum gonna freakkkkkkkkkk out. Bahahaha


I had a short discussion with Lily (my stylist) on what I would like to have. I told her I wanted a very dark ASH brown as my base. I emphasized the word 'ash' alot because I didn't want a typical brown colour.. but more of a ashy brown. A dark brown also prevents the black roots from being too obvious when it starts growing out! Also, since my base is already blonde (bleached it twice!!) so I need a really dark colour to combat the blonde else the new colour gonna fade away into blonde again very soon! I also requested for additional purple streaks for my hair again!! :D
These were the purple (Magenta & Lavender) that went onto my hair! Suggested by Lily because this range of colours are not exactly dyes.. but they are 'Acid Colours' which means they are non-chemicals and non-damaging to our hair! :D Whoop whoop!!


After dyeing my hair.. I did the same treatment which I did previously! NP 3.1 Neo Process Treatment (You can read my previous post HERE )

And finally!!!! My pretty hair all done!! :D

Although the ash brown kinda turned out way darker than expected, I still love it!! The ashy tone is super obvious! It looks more of a dark ash black currently but I am certain its gonna lighten after a few washes! The purple will fade as well into a lovely shade of pastel lavender!

My Saturday: Maki San, Yan Palace & Zouk!

Hi guys!! Happy Sunday!! ^^  I really look forward to the weekends now because these are the only few days where I can spend more time with Jj, and chill out till late at night just like how we used to! Definitely treasuring the time we spend together even more so now!

Always a must to take some selfie inside the car... Lol. Girls being girls~ Yup and yes!! I am no longer a blondie!!


Anyway.. we headed over to The Grand Cathay cuz we thought of catching a movie and also, I wanted to utilise my vouchers at STITCH before they expire. Can never finish spending my vouchers I got from CNOS competition.. Lol.  I was super hungry so I had a quick lunch at MAKI SAN first! 
So basically... it's like a place where you can customise your very own Sushi or Salad!! Ordering wasn't confusing at all and the order sheet was easy to fill in as well!



YAY FOOD!!! The Sushi came in this freaking cute box... I really wanted to kidnap the box back. Lol. But my bag was too small to fit the box in so I gave the idea up. Ahhhh so wasted!!!

Our MEGA SAN. So freaking huge it was impossible to stuff the entire sushi into my mouth!! It was filled with Avocado, Shredded Chicken, Steamed Ebi, Tobiko, Tempura Enoki Mushroom & Salmon Sahimi!


The Sushi itself tasted pretty normal but I think its still worth a try for the creativity factor! ;)

Then we went to Plaza Sing to shop~ I love the extended area of the mall! Hehehe

So after dinner, we left the place and decided to head home to nuaaaaa the night away. And just then... WE DROVE PAST... ZOUK. Omg it's been 10000 donkey years since both of us came. So we decided to just chill over at Winebar (since there's 1 for 1 for Citibank Card holders) and maybe walk around the bridge or something before heading home!



Both of us had Long Island Tea and I swear it was sooooooooooooo.... heavy. Is that even the word to describe the alcohol drink? Lol lol. I'd always say it in chinese la like '很重 sia'. Hahaha. 
The warm and tingly feeling started kicking in.. and it felt so great! LOL. Its like you'll feel a lil lighter and happier, bubbly and all that. Lol. I like drinking once in a while and I think everyone should learn how to drink so you would know where your limits are. It's also a great way to socialise. However, I don't think one should ALWAYS drink cuz it's bad for your liver.. and also don't get too drunk till you're knocked out/can't control your limbs cuz you're not only the one suffering but the people around taking care of you gonna suffer as well!
Okay enough of naggy Shenny. So right!! I was saying we wanted to just chill over at Winebar and not club since it was super impromptu and I didn't have the chance to ask any friends if they could sign us in. Just then.. I bumped into a friend and HE GOT US GUESTLIST!!! Super happy la... So off we went into Zouk!!



Being random here but if you notice, I usually prefer taking pictures with my RIGHT profile (left picture) than my left profile (right picture). Notice the difference?? My features are usually sharper on my right profile!


Oh and also... I am usually friendlier than usual when I drink. So I made a new friend when I was in the toilet and she's Francesca! She's also a fellow blogger sponsored by DRx! ^^

Bumped into Shanice (fellow Shunji Matsuo blogger) too!! Hehehe So we hopped between Zouk and Phuture and danced till like 2am before leaving.. A lil sad we didn't stay till 4am because ALL the good songs are usually played between 2am-4am. Anytime before 2am are usually really super old school clubbing songs.

This was my Sister's favourite and one of mine too! The puffs were soft and not as sweet as compared to others out there (so less sinful!!)! How I wished my school sells snack food like these.. I'll easily choose this over Fried Nuggets or any other fattening fried food! Yummy!


- CHOCOLATE FONDANT (LAVA) CAKES






I was told that if I microwaved the Lava Cakes for 8 seconds, the molten chocolate inside would ooozzeee out when you slice it through. Kinda sad that mine wasn't successful... maybe the temperature of my microwave wasn't right? :( Nonetheless, if you're a fan of chocolate you gotta try this!! Serve it with Vanilla Ice Cream just like how those fancy restaurants do and it'll be equally good, and it's only at just half the price! :D
