Lotte World & Gyeongbokgung Palace

The lazy bum me finally decided to continue to update the super-overdued Korea travelogue entries after sucha long long time. Anyway, here are some places the school brought us to as part of the Summer Exchange Programme!

It was an after-class-excursion so by the time we arrived, it was actually pretty late like 5pm? And the bus took forever to reach there, an approx 1hour++ journey from Hyehwa.

It's always better to be with a group of people when it comes to theme parks!!

I'll NEVER ever sit this kinda ride, although some claimed that there isn't much adrenaline rush feeling because everything just happens too quickly to even feel much.

I sat this though!! Kept screaming throughout the ride.. bahahaa

Omg this Ghost House sucks to the max. It's like a short 3D film but it was SOOOO boring. I think most people actually fell asleep while I closed my eyes because all the 3D effect made me really giddy.

Wanted to sit the Carousel so badly too but there wasn't any time left :'(

We only had about 3 hours there and more than half the time was spent on queuing for the rides, although there wasn't much rides to even start with. Heard Everland is so much better but I didn't visit this theme park cuz I'm not a big fan of rollercoasters and all. Caribbean Bay (beside Everland) was great though!!

Also known as Cookin' Nanta, it is a non-verbal comedy!
"NANTA storms into a huge kitchen where four capricious cooks are preparing a wedding banquet. While cooking, they turn all kinds of kitchen items - pots, pans, dishes, knives, chopping boards, water bottles, brooms and even each other- into percussion instruments. "

Said to be Korea's Best No.1 Performance and it's also rated 4.5stars out of 5 on TripAdvisor!
But.... I beg to differ. It was indeed entertaining, interesting, captivating and made all of us laughed but I found the whole show too draggy and repetitive after awhile! But I would say it's still worth watching, afterall it's a very different kind of performance!

IMG_7084
Okiiii a picture of us before the performance started! A pity that pictures/videos are not allowed to be taken!

Time to work on those Jeju pictures!
xoxo
