Bottled Up

Today, B was just mentioning to me why do I only have 1 or 2 close friends? And come to think of it... yes that was quite true. And even so, I don't even feel EXTREMELY close to them anymore. Perhaps we are all leading different ways of life now, having different views...

I was browsing through my contact lists just now hoping to find a friend out to chill, and surprisingly enough, 3/4 of my friends in my contact lists are really just hi-bye friends. That kinda feeling really sucked balls. I am even having second thoughts about friends whom I really THOUGHT to be my good/best friends. How often do they actually call and date me out? Its always me taking the initiative, and I am tired of that.

I don't think I am someone who can open up to someone easily, moreover trust them and build a friendship.. But right now, I really really do want to have more friends, quality friends to be exact.

Quality > Quantity.

I can't wait for school to start, can't wait to make more friends and I can't wait to put the past behind me and move on...

To B, I really thank God for you. You're my soulmate, my best friend, my family, my everything.

I just received a comment from some unknown person and it says:

" i wonder what your bf sees in you, honestly."

I wonder if that is a negative comment... but nonetheless, to be honest, I don't even know the answer myself. I don't see myself as a great girl, I know I don't really have the looks, the figure, less the brains.. I throw my temper at the slightest thing, behaves like a princess and demands for everything but yet, he's still here with me for 3 years. So I guess there is still something about me that attracts him to me and that I will have to find out from him.


Sigh I am feeling really lousy now. Anyone who been through this before too?
Tomorrow better be a better day..

Grand Canyon in Winter!!

I remembered so vividly how torturous and physically demanding it was to drive ALL THE WAY from Los Angeles --> Las Vegas --> Grand Canyon! It was a total of 8 hours drive ok!!
So this time round we're a lil clever, we booked with a tour to go to Las Vegas so that we can avoid the driving + this tour brings us to Grand Canyon too!

I think it was a clever choice though it sucked very much because the tour guide was a Chinese, and he had to speak in 2 different language - mandarin and english. Not to mention his english was.....................

Throughout the journey, he was speaking like this:
"Later u will be ah.. meeting me ah.. at the DU-ER lobby" (what he meant was TOUR lobby, i was scratching my head so hard like.. WHAT IS DU-ER LOBBY?!?!)
"We ah.. bringling (bringing) u to the.. ah... buffet.. $10 dollah veli cheap."

Ok enough said, it was horrible listening to him for the entire journey. *turns off*

Then we had our lunch... IN THE COLD!!!! Without any firestand or anything y'know.. i was trembling through out!! Not to mention that were those BIG black birds hanging around the eating area, i was so scared that they would snatch away the food! :O
And I was feeling thirsty.. so i went to take some hot water cuz i wanted to dissolve my tea powder. AMAZINGLY.... it was only a short mere walk from where they served the food to my seat, prolly a 15secs walk? When i reached my table and poured the tea powder in it, IT JUST WOULDN'T DISSOLVE.................................... cuz while I was walking, THE HOT WATER ACTUALLY BECAME COLD!!
YES... the weather was THAT cold!!!!!!

Then we were feeling quite bored because we did not try out the skywalk/helicopter ride/boat ride as it all involved $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$....
So to kill time, we decided to use the lil stones to form the word "GRAND CANYON" and it turned out fabulous!!!

Sigh i REALLY REALLY REALLY do miss the States alot... Think i'll prolly have a better quality life over there. SIGH IM SO ENVIOUS OF MY SISTER U KNOW.. although have to be separated from our family, but USA is such a great place to live in!! It has EVERYTHING!

On a side note, my Erjie left for Tokyo yesterday where she will stop for a few days for holiday before flying back to LA. And my parents are actually having plans to visit my sister again in USA sometime in June............. *OMG*........
I wanna go too!!!!!!!! But i guess my parents will just skin my alive, i know that. BUT.... C'MON ITS USA!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh~~~~

I think I am really greedy, but I just cant help it.

I finally get to eat my hummus!! Been craving for this ever since I ate it in the states...
Anyway, the turkish food here is REALLY great!! Not like I been eating turkish food quite alot... but all I can say is that at least the food doesnt taste bad (in fact quite tasty) and its something special. Not the typical Jap food or whatever you have out there which are all so easily accessible ;)
Worth a try!!

Anyway, friday is really coming and it will be MONTHS again before i get to see my lovely erjie :(
Sad much......................

I will miss all the times we had at the Hangout playing wii, all the douhua eating sessions, sleepover at your apartment....................

And also, i miss travelling with you, esp the awesome powerpacked schedule!!! ^^
