Tokyo Day 3: HARAJUKU

I remember I was really super happy that day because my missing luggage finally arrived at the hotel!!
We took the subway and reached Harajuku in less than 15 mins! 
First stop for the day was Meiji Shine!

I miss the weather so much!! I hate travelling when it's winter cuz it's freeeezing cold & I'd look like a dumpling all wrapped up... then again I hate summer cuz it's toooo hot & humid that I'll be feeling all sweaty and sticky. So the weather in Tokyo then was perrrrfeeect. It was like 20-22°C in the day and 15-18°C at night!



A really long walk to Meiji Shrine!

Finally!!!



There's this like 'well' outside the shrine.. and also at almost every other shrines we visited. We gotta use the water to wash our hands as well as to gurgle our mouth!




Happened to have a chance to witness this ceremony the moment we entered the shrine. I am guessing it's a very traditional formal wedding ceremony but I am not very sure~ Jj says it could be a funeral as well. Lol what a vast difference.

We were about to leave Meiji Shrine when we saw the traditional ceremony again!

Finally headed back to the Harajuku area and tried this Takoyaki! Couldn't take my eyes off this Takoyaki stall the moment we exited the train station and I was telling myself I GOTTA TRY IT.



Me already all seated, ready to devour my Takoyaki once it's served!


YUMYUMYUM. Really love the Takoyaki in Japan.. especially the ones from OSAKA (I call Osaka the City of Takoyaki lol). It's so goood that it puts the ones in Singapore to shame..

And I hereby declare that this is my FAVOURITE CREPE STALL IN HARAJUKU... Or rather the whole of Japan!! IT'S SO GOOD I NEED ONE NOW. I ate like 3 of them in a day. That's just how good it is.. & just look at the long queue! 
Okay la to be honest also.. this is the only crepe stall I tried for the whole stretch of Harajuku and I completely sold my heart and soul to it! I really wanted to give the others a try but I was afraid it wouldn't be as nice.. then I would end up disappointed and sad and ultimately, waste my $$ right!! So I rather stay faithful and eat the one that I already know it's nice!




Wah wah wah cannot already my stomach grumbling now!!! They even have like salad crepe... too healthy for me haha. I kept ordering all the different cheesecake crepe!



I think this was Blueberry Cheesecake Crepe. *OKAY FAINTS AND DIES*


Finally walked to the main area of Harajuku Street! I love this place! There's really alot of interesting shops here and even interesting people. I see more swag people and also the cosplay kinda people here more than anywhere else in Japan!




And saw Kareena in Harajuku as well!!! Hahaha what a coincidence to bump each other here~

The stuff within the shops & the way they display, the atmosphere all also friggin different from the ones in Singapore.. or anywhere else I see in the world. Damn concept concept.

Opposite Harajuku Street is Takeshita Street! It's very very similar to Harajuku Street actually.

Anyway, stuff in Daiso in Japan are definitely cheaper than in Singapore. Genereally, most of them are 100yen which is SGD$1.25 only!! But unlike Sg where everything in Daiso are priced at $2... some stuff in Japan Daiso will cost you more than 100yen!
Then I dragged Jj along into a neoprint shop to snap pictures with me!!

So much cheaper here.. only $4!! Neoprints in Singapore can easily cost u $10 already la. Anyway love the ones in Japan because they'll print like 2 equal sets for you and your friend! The machine will also send a softcopy version to your phone... too bad I didn't have a Japan number so I was not able to get the softcopy version!


I couldn't stop laughing when the neoprints came out cuz... JUST LOOK AT JJ'S EYES!! So mega huge like he wore a 16mm contact lens or something. The machine also auto shrank our faces!! Lol. If only my camera has the same function, then life would be perfect!! lol


Japanese Omelette Rice!  This dish was just super normal despite it looking really delicious!!






Walked past my favourite crepe stall again and just had to grab one more!! This time it was Oreo Cheesecake Crepe!

Then we went to Kiddyland in Harajuku!

Super cute miniature Hellokitty. Really felt like buying them but too bad I have nowhere to display them! :(

The pink hellokitty in the leopard costume damn cute la!! But I didn't want to waste unnecessary money on plushies so I took a picture of it instead. Lol
