RWS Adventure Cove WaterPark x S.E.A Aquarium

So... here's a super duper overdue post!! About a month ago, Jj and I visited the new attraction in Sentosa RWS - Adventure Cove & S.E.A Aquarium! For the curious ones, ticket admission for each attraction is $29 each, which means total is $58! But if you buy both tickets together as package, it would cost you $52. However, you may also try your luck at some travel agencies if you want... My sis got the tickets for me at only $44 from a travel agency in Chinatown!

Here's a short video I did at Adventure Cove! Watch it if you haven't ;)

We woke up super early that day, like 8am?? Because Adventure Cove opens at 10am and we wanted to be there right on time. #kiasu #singaporeans lol.

We started our day at Adventure Cove first because Adventure Cove closes before the Aquarium.. so it makes sense to visit the one which closes earlier right?

Got changed and TIME TO PLAYYY!!!
IMG_0561

Just a tip.. which is quite common sense and that is to visit these places on a WEEKDAY. And check that it doesn't coincide with the school holidays/public holidays! Less people = less crowded = less queuing time for everything.

Just nuaing and floating around the lazy river!
Amazingly, my makeup managed to stay even in water!! Indeed the power of waterproof makeup!

Rainbow Reef:
This is really cool and what makes it different from the other water theme parks because YOU ACTUALLY GET TO SNORKEL WITH FISHES!!! I haven't been diving for years and I kinda miss it... so snorkelling is the closest I can get for now!
3
On a side note, the water is really damn salty (duhh salt water!) and SUPER COLD. Brrrr

4

After floating along the lazy river, you'll get to this spot, which is one of my FAVOURITE PART!!

So cool isn't it?!?!

There's also actually a Ray Bay where you can feed the rays (additional costs though!)

Wave Pool!

7
My favourite ride is this 'Rip Tide Rocket'! Closest to a rollercoaster ride! The rest of the rides were not intimidating enough.

There are also professional photographers around ready to capture underwater shots for you too!

MANTA RAY ^^

Glad that they eventually removed bringing in the whale shark because honestly, THE TANK IS NOT EVEN SUPER MEGA HUGE. I can't even believe this is the world's largest aquarium honestly... feels like the one I visited in Seoul was much bigger. Hmmm. And can you imagine if the whale shark have to swim like 100000000000 rounds around the tank each day? Damn evil, pathetic and sad.

Hey bro, the ray is coming for you.

  6. Hi! I'm going to adventure cove next week and just wanted to check a few things! :)

Did you wear contact lens that day? I'm contemplating wearing them because I'm really blind without them... but did a lot of water/splashes get into your eyes, esp during the final splash down the slides?

Also, were the shower areas crowded? Were there spaces/mirrors to comb hair/put on makeup etc, and are there stations to blow dry your hair? :)
