My maternal side would always have vegetarian on the first day of CNY and the ONLY dish I always love and enjoy eating would be this - Zai Er. It's like deep fried tofu skin? I swear I can eat bowls after bowls of Zai Er... so yummy!






Dylan was non-stop eyeing our food throughout! Sucha glutton omg.

Another round of visiting at Jj's Aunt place later at night on Day 1!

And after all the visiting since morning, we headed over to Zouk to celebrate CNY and also because there is Dash Berlin! DAMN HIONG RIGHT. That's also one reason why I didn't wear contacts that day because I highly doubt I can survive in contacts for 16 hours. Zzz I will end up ripping my eyes out

{ DAY 2 } I had to wake up after sleeping for like... 4-5hours to start preparing for another round of visiting again!

And drinking games - Circle of Death! It's cool how open their families are!! I mean, even one of his aunt joined us in this game eh + Jj's dad was watching us playing &laughing as well! And they are all OKAY with us openly drinking and playing games. This is definitely something I think I can never ever do with my friends at home!! Lol


{ DAY 3 } It's time for my relatives to visit my place!

It was Dylan's first time eating food - Blended Apple and he loved it!!! :D It was so fun watching him eating cuz his expression = priceless!! Think he found it weird initially because the taste of apple is sooo different from milk!




HAHAH THIS DEFINITELY TOP THE CHART FOR PHOTO OF THE DAY. SO CANDID LA THIS PICTURE!!! Eat until the whole mouth so messy!!

FINALLY!!! Mum's version of Hong Zao Mian Xian, with additional ALL TIME FAVOURITE FUZHOU FISHBALL and Wanton!

Met the girls up at night for a simple reunion dinner and to chill over at Summer Breeze!





A pint of Hoegaarden costs $12 and the Strawberry Beer I had costs $8.50!




Baked rice was SUCKY. Finger food were o-k-a-y.

It is a nice place to chill with friends and to enjoy the sea breeze (sea is literally right behind the restaurant!). I think this would be the perfect place to drink/have some snacks with a bunch of  good friends. It's also a nice place for star gazing! But it's definitely NOT the place to have good-food!!
