2011 resolutions

Gosh..... how time flies!!!! It's already the last day of 2010! Not the BEST year i would say, but then again, a few good things happened like..

1) my 3rd anni with B!
2) B won MR SMU! LOL~
3) My sis finally came back to Singapore for good!
4) i went to Bangkok again!!! (hahahaha)
5) My 1st trip to Taiwan
6) I started Uni, and made a few awesome friends!
7) I started working in Frolick and met many awesomee pretty girlsssss!
8) A year my age finally hit the digit 2.... mehhhhh~ :(
9) Started to model for robotninjas!
10) Had an interview and a published online article about me!

and the list goes on...

Ok here comes my 2011 New Year Resolutions!!! (very cheesy but stilllllll, i'll do it)

1) Save $$$
2) Pass my final exams with superb grades!!! (like 4 distinctions??)
3) Maybe.... get a driving license?
4) Get to travel Korea (& find my korean penpal!!!!!!)
5) Bangkok again?? :p
6) Plan an awesome 21st birthday party! (& dont invite people i dont like hahahaha)
7) Get a camera
8) Lose at least 2kg
9) Treat my family and bf nicer
10) Restrict my spending on clothes (!!!!) for real!!!!


Last but not the least, HAPPY 2011 EVERYONEEEE!!!
Cant wait for the party tonight! I hope it's good! :)

TAIWAN (Taipei, Kaohsiung, Taitung & Hualien)

{ TAIPEI }
We went to a National Park - YANG MING SHAN






A really pretty place with alot of sceneries and greens all around!  I think you could also hike up to get a full view from the top as well, but we were all too lazy... Dad was tired. Mum was tired. So was I... and the weather was mad hot then!!

XI MEN DING

My hotel was opposite of XiMenDing!! Great location! And I remember just beside my hotel, there's this very old store selling Ru Rou Fan (Braised pork rice).. it was the BEST I've ever eaten. I have since tried to search for the best Taiwan braised pork rice in Singapore... but none could ever be on par as the one I had beside the hotel!! Even my mum agrees~

We visited Modern Toilet as well!





















Really, you only visit this place for mere photography and for that eating-in-a-toilet-concept novelty. The food was rather expensive and tasted like... SHIT as well.

I love Taiwan desserts so much it's cray!!! I love everything chewy chewy especially chewy taro balls!! LOVE.

We also visited GU GOONG ! (some old palace I think??) 


We were there in time for their guards change of duties!






Some really expensive but super delicious mooncake! I think we ate this somewhere near Gu Goong.... hmmmmm~ Memory is failing me hahaa







Another place to visit in Taiwan is definitely the SHILIN NIGHT MARKET. Don't forget to try the fried chicken there!!! :D


We also visited other parts of Taiwan like Kenting (already blogged! Kenting is also my favourite place in the whole of Taiwan!!), Kaohsiung, Taitung and Hualien!

{ KAOHSIUNG }

DREAM MALL
Honestly, Kaohsiung was the most boring shitxzx ever.  We went to like Dream Mall (can't rmb if there's any other malls), the Love River which was crap and a small scale night market. Regretted spending a night here cuz otherwise, we could have stayed an extra day in Kenting!



{ TAITUNG }
We didn't spend a night in Taitung though, just happened to drive past here!

Hot Spring!


SIAO YE LIOU
There's an original Ye Liou in the town of Wanli, between Taipei and Keelung which we didn't go! But we happened to drive past the miniature version of the original Ye Liou in Taitung! :D






I am sure the original Ye Liou would be so much prettier and spectacular! :D

{ HUALIEN }
We visited TARAKO NATIONAL PARK.








Ahh what a pretty scenery!!





No idea which beach I was at in Hualien lol

Then at night, we bought some fireworks from the night market, went to the beach which was just beside and set off the fireworks!!



AMAZING!! I remember we bought the bigger one which was slightly more expensive... but the fireworks WAS SO PRETTY!! It shot right up to the sky and lighted up the dark sky in all sorts of colours!! There are other cheaper fireworks but would not give you this kinda effect la~ Those will be like 'PEWW' and no more... versus mine which was 'PINGPANGPONGBOMBBOOOOOMMZZZ'.. LOL you get what I mean la!
