"Sawatdee Kaa"

Finally after 12345 days, i have finished editing the colours and resizing the bkk pictures!!! Think we used the wrong mode for the dslr, most of the pics were like dull and very pixelated cuz we set to high ISO. =.= And it wasn't very obvious when we looked through the pictures from the cam itself until i uploaded all into the computer.. :( But anyhowz, here comes the bkk post!! Beware though, lots of pictures coming your way! ;)


Day 1:



looking tired... I had to wake up at 4am to prepare for the flight, but i slept only when it was 3am!!!! ZzzzZzzz

We stayed in I Residence Sathorn for the 3 nights. I normally booked my hotels through booking.com. Even the hotels i stayed when i was in the States are booked through this website ;)

It's a 3 stars hotel located very near to Silom, which is where Patpong is. Only 2700baht for 3 nights, around SGD$39/night! Cheap right!! tsktsk! :p But most importantly, there is FREE WI-FI provided!!!! Best!! That's how i managed to tweet every night! ;) hahahah.




This is the hotel's tuktuk. They provide free shuttle service to the BTS station almost every hour! Convenient right! :)

We couldn't check in yet since check in time was around 1pm, and we reached the hotel at... 9am?? Wanted to rest and pig a while but can't :(







So........ we went to MBK!!!! We need food........

After MBK and Siam Square, we went back to the hotel to check in! :)




Like not bad right the room! There's microwave, kettle, TV (& we can watch world cup!!!)....... for a rather budget hotel! This is rather good! ;)

Dinner!!! I wouldn't say its not nice, but its quite home-cooked. So like, super healthy. Tom Yum soup didnt have the Tom Yum soup feeling, think its cuz of the lack of spices and herbs :(

Not much shopping was done at Patpong too. It was surprisingly, quite quiet. Didn't manage to watch any of the trannies or pingpong show too. Everytime i promised myself to watch it when im there, it'd fail. lol. The people are really WAY too aggressive in promoting their pingpong show which is a major turn off. Sigh sad. never get to watch again :(
Then it rained... HEAVILY. We were tired. All we wanted was sleep and massage. lol. So we head back to the hotel and had a friggin SHIOKKKKKKKKK 1hr foot massage and i fell asleep. I never once fell asleep when im doing a massage ok. Like, i don't understand how can some people sleep when people are there squeezing and pressing your leg/feet. But i guess i was really way too tired, just dozed off. lol.


DAy 1 BUYS! :D


I love love love the bag and the high waist pants!!!




B says i look like some thai girl... =.= lol. Anw, i think this sort of wire hairband that allows you to twist and turn is kinda 'in' now in bkk! Actually, i saw a few local online shops' model wearing it as an accessory already. Bought a few back... Stef i got one for you too!!!! :)

We met for a really short while only, like 2-3hrs? Cuz Sue had to go back to Rayong! :( And Off went off with his friend... :( But nvm! Cuz in 3weeks time, Sue will be here in SUNNY ISLAND SINGAPORE! :))) We'll be going to Universal Studio Singapore, pretty excited!! Stef u coming along anot???! ;)

Finally gathered enough courage to put my entire foot inside the water. Wah the fishes just chiong like mad. Haven been doing pedicure for the last 2 months, confirm have alot of dead skin lor!

Saw the sandals? Mad love the sandals ok!! Got it off Khao San road for only 150baht!! Like... 6bux only! ;)


For those BC fans, u may find this familiar! It was from Vel's collection!! Didn't managed to get it from the collection and there was no BO. Uber sad :( But lucky me i found it when Sue was hunting for belts in a belt shop, and it was the LAST PIECE!!!!! Lucky or what!! HURRAYYY!!! And obviously, it was much cheaper! hahahah ok happy like mad fullstop.

First time taking the MRT in Bkk. Usually we'll just take the BTS train. But look at the MRT 'card'. cool right! tsk! ;p machiam chips like that!

Green curry wasn't fantastic! But the thai-style omelette was great, so was the tom yum!!!! YUMZ!




Did massage too! Just maybe 20steps beside our hotel! Aiyayayayayaaaa!!! I prefer the foot massage we did on Day 1. Shiok max!!! Thai style full body massage, as always, is quite torturing. U know.. its quite pain, and all the stretching. I am not even flexible to start with :(


DAY 3 BUYS! :D

Surprisingly, i didn't buy alot. ;(


Bought this cute box to store all my hairbands, bangles and other accessories :)

Day 4:





ZEN.

Restaurant had a super duper weird smell. Quite a turn off, esp since its considered as one of the more atas restaurant here in BKK.


Salmon was ok, but the beef was great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And with unbelievable prices! hahaha!


And it was time to head to the airport.................

Well................................ BKK this time round was abit disappointing. Not many clothes caught my eyes which was quite sad. Normally i'll go "Wow Whoo WOw i want this i want that Wow whoo!!!". This time round was just... "ok.... k la... errrrrrrr...." lol. sort of buy for the sake of buying cuz if don't buy, like very dui bu qi to myself. haa~ Prices were higher too. Maybe its due to the protest, they didnt have any business. So since now business has resumed and tourists are back, prices are jerked up to make up for the loss. That's what i think but maybe its wrong. But even in places like Platinum, the wholesale price also not say its very cheap-cheap!

Anw, now i am jobless. In a dilemma on what to work. Rejected the yogurt offer cuz when i think of all the mopping, cleaning and sweeping, i think im not cut out for that. So it's down to being a tuition teacher or retail sales. But i can only start tuition on the 1st. So meanwhile, what should i do????!!!!!
