Last month, I had the opportunity to visit Vietnam for the first time c/o Angsana Lang Co!
1) Stay at Angsana Lang Co
Scenic views you can to see during the 1 hour journey from the airport to the resort :)
Angsana Lang Co is situated in Central Vietnam, within the Laguna Lang Co Complex.
This is the room I stayed in when I was there!
WHO DOESN'T LOVE BIG SOFT FLUFFY KING SIZED BEDS!?!?
My favourite part of the toilet...??
BUBBLE BATH!!! :D
View from my room in the day!
Day VS Night ;)
Besides big fluffy and comfy beds... my next favourite would be ROOM DINING SERVICES!!
Supper at 2am! Eating like a boss while watching movies like 'Mom's night out' hahaha
There are also alot other rooms available at Angsana Lang Co~
Next, we have The Loft room!
And one main reason why its my favourite room is because of this private pool + view:
I KNOW RIGHT!??!?!?!
View from the loft room, too amazing already!!!
Within Angsana Lang Co itself, there are also alot of activities to do... like...
One thing I love about the pools at Angsana Lang Co is the lazy river pool!!
Other than swimming, other recreational activities you can do over at the resort includes:
And ohya!! Don't forget to visit the beautiful beach too! :)
seashells by the seashore
From Angsana Lang Co, you can either take a short boat ride/buggy ride to Banyan Tree Lang Co!
While Angsana Lang Co is more for families/group of friends, Banyan Tree Lang Co will be perfect for couples who wants a romantic private getaway trip :)
Living on the edge!
Also, don't forget to visit the private beach at Banyan Tree Lang Co too ;)
3) Indulge: SPA Treatments
Over at Angsana Lang Co, be spoilt with a wide range of spa treatments!
The massage was freaking good I fell asleep!! Zzzz. My masseur was very friendly and professional too!
4) Visit: Hai Van Pass
Travel up the Hai Van Pass, an old highway that meanders over the mountains between Da Nang and Lang Co. It offers breathtaking paranomic views of the sea and countryside.
Animals we don't get to see on Singapore roads...
It looks almost as if the sea and sky are joined together :)
Dazzling Midi Skirt in Green Grey c/o NEONMELLO !
The midi skirt is so dreamy and flowy! I love it :)
5) Visit: Hoi An
Visit the 2,000 year old Hoi An old town, just one hour from Lang Co. A thriving commercial port for spice, ceramics and silk trade from the 15th to 19th century, the UNESCO Heritage Site is now a shopper’s paradise with charming art shops and galleries amidst narrow streets.
Super cute magnets!! I love collecting magnets so I got one of it for keepsake memory!
Beautiful fresh blooms!
I also got myself a bouquet too!! Hahahaha
Pretty night scene at Hoi An when it turned dark!
Dine at Seedlings when you're at Hoi An :)
After dinner, visit the night market at Hoi An!
I wasn't really interested in shopping but more fascinated with this small street, filled entirely with beautiful lighted lanterns!! This calls for picture takings!! lol
6) Visit: Hue
Hue, the former imperial city was home to 13 successive Vietnamese emperors. Now a UNESCO Heritage Site, a tour of Hue should include a visit to the Mausoleum of King Tuc Duc. It is a one-and-a-half hours drive from Lang Co.
Luxe Rousseau x Banded Frock in Multi c/o NEONMELLO.
For lunch, we had it at Y Thao Garden located in Hue.
Hands down, their food were so creative!!
We also managed to try the Bun Bo Hue, a clear beef noodle soup made of pure beef stock infused with lemongrass that is a specialty of Central Vietnam.
When in Hue, visit Thien Mu Pagoda!
"Built in 1601 between a river and a pine forest, the Thien Mu Pagoda ("Heavenly Lady Pagoda") in Hue is one of the oldest and prettiest religious buildings in the country. Among the many interesting artifacts housed at the complex is the car that took the monk Thich Quang Duc to his self-immolation in 1963 Saigon."
Last but not the least, a MUST visit in Hue is the Tu Duc Tomb!
The architecture of this place is really unique! It combines essence of the Chinese, Indian, Christianity and even has a lil bit of the 'European feel'.
"Located in a narrow valley in Duong Xuan Thuong Village, 8km from Hue City, Tu Duc Tomb is considered as one of the most beautiful and picturesque and largest works of architecture of Nguyen Dynasty’s royal palaces and tombs. People say that Tu Duc Tomb is a must in every tour to Hue City."
7) Eat: At Angsana/Banyan Tree Lang Co
A tribute to the cultivation of rice, Rice Bowl serves up delectable rice dishes.
2. Marketplace @ Angsana Lang Co
Had one of the most amazing buffet breakfast here :)
3. Saffron @ Banyan Tree Lang Co
Banyan Tree's signature restaurant Saffron features a crafted menu of traditional Thai dishes cooked with a modern touch. With an interior of royal purple fabric and embroidered silk in a setting perfectly placed to overlook the sweeping East Sea, this hilltop restaurant makes for an experience to tantalise both palate and spirit.
When I was there, it was still the celebration of Loy Krathong so I had the chance to release this into the water while making a wish!
Favourite would be the tom yum soup!! It was soooo good although some of the other bloggers were saying it was too spicy. Lol. But I love it :D Thai food never fails :)
Slow shutter speed at its best!
4. Azura @ Banyan Tree Lang Co
A beachfront restaurant offering indoor and al fresco dining on a varnished veranda, Azura serves up good old-fashioned Italian recipes, succulent offerings of seafood and deliciously scrumptious appetisers. Watch the chefs work rounds of pizza dough at an open counter before it is turned into crisply thin pizza of the highest artisan excellence.

Wow! I came across your blog and I can't contain my excitement already! It's my first time to visit Vietnam and lucky that I get to spend it at Angsana lang co! Any tips for cheap tours? Been searching and having a hard time because I don't know the exact packages and how much it would cost me. :)
ReplyDeleteHey! Your post is very nice. I am planning to visit the place. However, can i check with you what flight did you take to Da Nang? As Jetstar has stopovers which i am not really keen about.
ReplyDeleteHi! I took Silkair :)
DeleteI really love your post and your photos. Awesome Shenny :) I did stay at Angsana Lang co. The first day, it was raining all day- poor us. However massage is good idea with friendly staffs. Next day, we could spend day for sunshine time, stop raining haha. We could not visit Hue, but Hoi An and Da Nang were my favourite. Spending a morning at Da Nang with Da Nang home cooking class, we enjoy beautiful river view, practice farming works on vegetable garden, visit a nice local house. And afternoon, We did ride bicycle to Cam Kim village, spend time on Hoian river and romantic night with amazing Hoi An. Next time, we will do Hue trip as you did :)))
ReplyDeleteYou and your photos are so amazing. A perfect holiday at luxury resort.
